The word Akiska translates "to wear" in Cree and the designs are rich with Indigenous themes, lore and teachings.

Akiska Clothing features artists Wabimeguil - Betty Albert and David Blacksmith.

With the growth of our brand we hope to feature other Indigenous Artists in the future.

It is our hope that the clothing allows one to further express how they identify as they pursue "mino pimatisiwin."

Betty Albert is a Cree artist from Chapleau Cree First Nation in Northern Ontario.
